Guess what? I’m officially flu-free!
It’s such a relief to be able to return to normalcy and get sh*t done without coughing up a storm or feeling like I’m going to pass out. Thanks to being sick for about a week and a half, I learned to not overwork myself mentally and physically (especially at the end of the school term), to get an adequate amount of sleep every single night, to take more breaks and schedule some “me” time, and to regularly take my vitamins.

I thought I’d ease myself back into blogging by answering a blog tag that I’ve seen floating around the blogosphere. This tag is called The About Me Tag and it will let you, the reader, get to know me A LOT better. I’m not too sure who originally created this post, so if you know, please let me know. - Do you have a middle name? Yes, my middle name is Michelle.
- What was your favorite subject in school? In high school I loved Cooking (I was the cooking club president) and Physical Education, and in college I loved Public Speaking.
- What’s your favorite drink? Diet Coke is my unhealthy addiction and my alcoholic beverage of choice is a Gin and Tonic.
- Favorite song at the moment? I can’t get enough of Sorry by Justin Bieber.
- What would you name your children? I have never thought about my hypothetical children, so I have no idea.
- Do you participate in any sports? In high school I was on the Cross Country Running team, the Track and Field team, and the Field Hockey team, in college I was on the recreational Field Hockey team and the Dodgeball team, and now I’m just a gym rat.
- Favorite Book? Ever since 8th grade I’ve loved Animal Farm by George Orwell.
- Favorite Colour? Firetruck red is my all time favorite color.
- Favorite Animal? I’ve always loved pandas.
- Favorite perfume? In the summer months, my go-to perfume is the Green Apple DKNY scent and in the winter months, my go-to perfume is Daisy by Marc Jacobs.
- Favorite holiday? I love Christmas because I get to see most of my family and friends, my family has a lot of Christmas traditions, and December is my birthday month!
- Have you graduated High School? Yes! Many, many moons ago…
- Have you been out of the Country? Yes, I’ve been fortunate enough have lots of opportunities to travel.
- Do you speak any other languages? I can read and write in French, but when I speak it, I’m a bit shaky.
- What’s your favorite store? I love Chipotle, does that count?
- Favorite Restaurant? Oh, I guess I answered this already in the previous question.
- Did you like school? Yes, overall I loved school.
- Favorite YouTuber? I’m currently obsessed with Em Dunc’s videos! They’re both entertaining and educational.
- Favorite Movie? Batman Begins, hands down.
- Favorite Tv show? My current favorite show is The Mindy Project!
- Pc or Mac? Mac, I’m a slave to Apple.
- What phone do you have? I have an iPhone 5s.
- How tall are you? According to my doctor, I’m STILL growing. I’m now 5”6.
- What do you order at Starbucks? It really depends on the weather, but a black iced coffee with a touch of soymilk is my most ordered drink.
- One thing in your closet you cannot live without? Leggings. I don’t know what I would do without my leggings.
- What’s one thing most people probably don’t know about you? It’s not a secret, but I’ve been clinically diagnosed with OCD. I don’t like it when my food touches on my plate, I have to walk on a certain side of people, and most of the things I do is done in a particular order, among other things.
- Name one thing you want to do before you die. Oh man, what a loaded question. It’s a bit selfish, but before I die I want to get married.
- What’s one food you cannot live without? I can’t live without sushi.
- What quote/phrase do you live by? I guess “Face Your Truth” would be a good answer, since it’s tattooed on me.
- What’s your most listened to song on iTunes? All I Want For Christmas Is You by Mariah Carey.
- What kind of style would you define yourself as having? I don’t really know how to answer this question because if I’m not wearing jeans, a hoodie and Converse, I’m wearing athletic clothing.
- Favorite number? 5.
- Two Hobbies? Besides going to the gym, I love crafting (specifically, scrapbooking) and YouTube-ing/blogging.
- Pet Peeve? People who talk on their cellphones/text while driving really piss me off.
- Guilty Pleasure? I enjoy watching Toddlers & Tiaras.
